IJC Executive Director Arsen Ostrovsky – ‘Advocating for Israel, from Israel: Reflections on ‘aliyah’
I’m a Jew, I’m a Zionist, and after 2,000 years of our people dreaming, fleeing persecution and saying year after year, “Next Year in Jerusalem,” I said, “Enough is enough! I’m coming home!
Having been so deeply involved in the Diaspora as a pro-Israel activist, which I continue to do so professionally today, I truly believe in the principle of kol Yisrael arevim zeh l’zeh—that all Jews are responsible for one another, that we are one people whose future is so inextricably intertwined.”
The Israeli-Jewish Congress (IJC) Executive Director Arsen Ostrovsky reflects on his Aliyah (immigration to Israel) and advocacy for the Jewish state.
On Sunday, 28th October, Arsen will be honored with the prestigious 2018 Sylvan Adams Nefesh B’Nefesh Bonei Zion Prize in the field of ‘Israel Advocacy,’ at a special ceremony to be held at the Knesset. We couldn’t be prouder of him! Mazal Tov Arsen!
