IJC Hosts Norwegian Delegation at Knesset
The Israeli-Jewish Congress (IJC) was delighted to host in the Knesset this week a delegation of youth leaders from the Norwegian group ‘Med Israel for fred’ (‘MIFF’), headed by MIFF’s new Chairman of the Board, Mr. Bengt-Ove Nordgard.
MIFF is the leading pro-Israel group in Norway, with over 11,000 members, who do truly fantastic work supporting Israel, fighting Antisemitism & BDS, and promoting the Norway – Israel alliance.
At the Knesset, IJC facilitated and led meetings for the delegation with Deputy Speaker and Chairman of European Forum of the Knesset Hilik Bar, Member of Knesset and Chair of the Israel – Norway Parliamentary Friendship Alliance Aliza Lavie and Member of Knesset Amir Ohana.
The Members of Knesset provided fantastic and diverse insight on a wide range of issues to this inspiring, engaged and highly active group on matters ranging from strengthening Israel – Norwegian relations, the Israeli – Palestinian conflict, BDS, Antisemitism, as well as some of the contentious domestic issues in Israel at present!
IJC is proud of our partnership and friendship with MIFF and look forward to continuing to work closely together to support Israel and strengthen this special bond between our two nations.
