Israeli-Jewish Congress (IJC) in the Media – Hanukkah, Trends Facing European Jewish Community and IJC Projects in Israel & Europe
This Wednesday, 27th November, on the 1st Night of Hanukkah, Israeli-Jewish Congress (IJC) Project Manager, Ran Bar-Yoshafat, was on the ‘Contact’ Program on Ch9 TV in Israel, discussing IJC’s special Hanukkah project with former IDF soldiers from IMPACT! to help bring some joy and light to more than 2,000 Holocaust Survivors around the country, with a special candle-lighting and ceremony, sufganiyot and personal time with each of the Survivors.

IJC Director of Research, Arsen Ostrovsky, was also in the media, in a radio interview on the English language TLV1 Radio Program, also discussing IJC’s Hanukkah event for Holocaust Survivors, in addition to talking about the current trends facing the Jewish community in Europe (with a special emphasis on anti-Semitism), the importance of Israel & Jewish unity and some of the work IJC is doing trying to strengthen ties between Israel and the Diaspora community.
