IJC Young Ambassadors delegation participates in Israeli Shuk event in Budpaest, Hungary
An op-ed in Times of Israel by IJC’s Director of Research, Arsen Ostrovsky, about our Young Ambassadors delegation’s participation in the ‘Israeli Shuk’ event in Budapest, hosted by Israel’s Embassy to Hungary.
The ‘Shuk’ (or ‘Market’ in English) was designed to give the Hungarian people a “small taste of Israeli culture,” with various Israeli exhibitions on display, highlighting the best of Israeli food, culture and tourism.
The highlight of the event was the largest ever plate of Hummus in Hungary … weighing in at 50kg!
